mamabird life {three}

seeing...
winter fade.

smelling...
lemon oil diffusing.  probably one of my favorite scents now.  so *fresh*.

listening...
to Rennie over the monitor.  her waking-up sounds are the sweetest.  coos, yawns, finger-sucking.

starting…
to work out again.  nothing superwoman-ish.  just enough to make a change.  also working on eating as healthy as i can.  whenever i go super-strict my milk supply diminishes, so i have to be careful for now.  my focus is on health, not weight-loss (though that would be an awesome side-effect), and since i  am still my daughter's food supply i have to prioritize that.  <3

wanting...
cool temperatures for as long as possible!  my sweet hubby is going to start working on creating a little shade spot with a pool for Rennie and me on our back patio soon though.  he's the absolute best!

wishing...
for simplicity.  and not just wishing, but working on it!

thinking...
up new plans for rearranging.  my mom passed down this crazy gene that requires rooms to be rearranged even when the current set-up is ideal.  i'm really getting excited to try out my new ideas... and lifting furniture will give me a chance to show off my newly-forming muscles (oh kidding... kidding soooo much!)

laughing...
because is feels good to laugh.

buying...
a king. size. bed.
people.  i can't even tell you how amazing this will be!  since we co-sleep, the extra space from upgrading is going to be such a blessing.

singing...
"once again", "knowing you", "wonderful, merciful savior",
and "i love you a bushel and a peck".

wearing...
short sleeves.  already!

feeling...
sore (working out hurts) and hopeful.

reading...
the book of Romans.  actually, i have started writing it, so it will be a slow read.  i am so thrilled to be penning God's Word... how special to have a version in my own handwriting.

anticipating...
adventures.  chances to grow and be brave.  changes.
spring.

loving...
God.  His grace.  my beautiful family.  these pictures.  <3

Thank you! I'm sure pictures of my devos will make an appearance at some point! My pants are actually palazzo pants (a type of dress pant), but you aren't the first to mistake them. ;-) Guess the world just ism't ready! Blessings!

Good for you on exercising! I recently started training for my first 5K...I haven't run consistently in years so I am definitely with you on the whole soreness thing.

I would love to see your penmanship as well. Copying and writing down God's Word can be one of the most effective ways to really meditate on it and even memorize it. :D

Thank you for sharing so many beautiful photos of you and Rennie! She is growing up so fast and you look radiant with joy. :)
