This year's theme was Construction Zone. It centered around the time of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of Jerusalem's walls.
Isn't the cardboard-box wall awesome?
My Mom taught the youngest class along with good friend, Angela... both are so gifted with children. :-)
My sister, Sammie (middle), playing games with friends.
The young adults were put hard at work filling up a bunch of water balloons for the VBS Grand Finale. Several people in this group were pretty well soaked before the work was done. :-)
Little gal from my church, Riley. I snuck this picture before she spotted my camera!
Another precious girl from church, Sloan.
Besides being a part of the VBS skits, Andrew also led the song time (my sisters and I helped with singing and actions, since Andrew's hands were full of guitar!). He picked such fun songs and did a great job getting the kids excited.
Thanks, Dad, for this pic of us! |
Happy in our cool hats!
So, VBS was a success. I can't wait to share pics from the dramas (which was my main department).
Oh, if you missed yesterday's Modestly Monday, take a second to check it out! Also be sure to take the new survey at the top of the sidebar!
As always, love blogging and would love to hear from you!
Blessings!
