Baby blue eyes widen.

Astonishment.

New discovery.

Mouth opens in a gasp.

Awe.

Landscape viewed.

Face wet with tears.

Amazement.

Word revealed.

Lord, my God.

Too Great.

Too Deep.

Too Beautiful.

Reason-baffling

Savior.

Sense-overriding

Redeemer.

Made known,

still incomprehensible.

Sin-abhorring,

yet mankind-loving.

Holy and Just,

Friend and Lover.

Often rejected,

forgotten;

Always renewing,

forgiving.

The warmth of Your

grace;

the touch of Your

comfort;

the infinity of Your

joys;

the greatness of Your

presence;

the power of Your

sacrifice;

the beauty of Your

holiness;

the passion of Your

love...

I can only know,

never

understand.

I can only whisper,

"Mystery"

and shout,

"Wonder"!
