Here Spring Comes!

Now that April is coming to an end, spring is starting to look like its here to stay!  Jackets are still being worn outside... unless you don't want to wear one and are determined that it is time for short-sleeved shirts!
Last week I celebrated my birthday (which actually fell on Good Friday this year!).  I spent the morning with my family, opened gifts and gave lots of hugs.  I went to church in the late morning to practice the evening's music with the sound system.  Afterwards, my amazing Dad took me out for lunch.  We ended up getting an extra forty minutes to talk because I left my purse at the restaurant and didn't realize it till we got home!  The afternoon was relaxing and we all watched "Tangled" together and spent a lot of time laughing.  We had an early supper and went to our Good Friday service.  The time spent at church was incredible.  Good Friday and Easter are two of my favorite days to remember and celebrate.  Later, the senior pastor at our church, his wife, and another pastor's family that goes to our church (they have one son still living at home who goes to the youth group with my sisters) came to our house for pie.  I'm not a big "cake person"...  so we had chocolate pie (yum!!!), apple pie (wow!!!), and pumpkin pie (AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!).  I'm sure I gained some weight that night...  ;-)
Though it was rainy on my birthday, the next day was incredibly beautiful!  I was able to get some pictures and wanted to share them.  Spring is so beautiful... so are my siblings!!!  Both Natalie and Bekah are "featured" in some of these pics (which, like always, are my personal property)!

Just as a father has compassion on his children,
         So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.

 For He Himself knows our frame;
         He is mindful that we are but dust.

 As for man, his days are like grass;
         As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

 When the wind has passed over it, it is no more,
         And its place acknowledges it no longer.

 But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him,
         And His righteousness to children's children,

 To those who keep His covenant
         And remember His precepts to do them.
 The LORD has established His throne in the heavens,
         And His sovereignty rules over all.
~Psalm 103:13-19

God bless!!!
