on my instagram

I recently joined the world of Instagram and it has been such a nice, simple way to share snippets of my crazy life without consuming minutes (and hours, ahem) of my time like Facebook sometimes does.  These are some of the pictures I've recently shared along with some little updates.

swing-love.  her joy is so beautiful!

Mommy loves you, Promise. Wish you were here in all of your three-year-old fantastical-ness to celebrate with me. Thank you for making me a mom. I will always remember and always cherish you. Till heaven, sweetheart. ❤️

For Mother's Day I wore this special necklace (as well as a bracelet) I was given after losing our first baby, Promise.  Rennie makes that holiday much easier and even joyful now, but there are still those twinges in my heart that can't be ignored.  <3

Andrew got me a *beautiful* Willow Tree figurine representing Rennie to add to my little "family" I'm collecting.  I have figurines representing Andrew and me together and Promise, so what a fitting gift!

the obsession is real

We've been in our little house for a couple weeks now and I LOVE it!!!!  I love my big sink, wood floors, countertops, white trim and cabinets, soft-colored walls, windows letting in SO much natural light... oh, and the little space under the stair case and behind the loveseat which I turned into a play nook for Rennie!!!  My parents built this place with us in mind and let us pick out all of the appliances and finishes... It truly is feeling like home!!!

love movie time with these two!

peaceful afternoon. dishes done. baby napping. plus beautiful flowers just dropped off by a friend are on my coffee table.

Rennie is adjusting to her new house very well!!!  This is by far the easiest move we've had with her.  She loves the open space, watching me wash dishes, and helping (in her own way) with chores.

One ENORMOUS development in our lives is the decision to add a little doggy to our family.  She is still too small to leave her mother, but will be joining us in about six weeks.  She is a shaded red long-haired miniature dachshund.  We have named her Rory.  We are so excited!

I promise that house pictures are coming soon!  Maybe even a video-tour!  We are still in the process of moving in, but very close to finished!  It can all feel very crazy at times, but we are doing so well and enjoying this new season immensely!  If you'd like to follow me on Instagram to enjoy more of these life-snippets, you can find me here.

What are some beautiful life-snippets that you have to share???
