mamabird life {nine}

seeing...
piles and piles of bins!  our little home is almost entirely packed.  it's a good thing too, since our moving date has been changed to even closer!

smelling...
andrew's homemade pizza dough.

feeling...
tired, very tired.  also a little overwhelmed.  and also really excited!

enjoying…
little, special things like taking pictures of my daughter in a dress that i wore as a baby!  that's me in the top right at 6 months and rennie is thirteen months in hers (the dress was definitely a snugger fit for her).

listening...
to "baby signing time".  rennie is getting so good at using several words in sign language to communicate (along with the words she already speaks).

 singing...
hymns.  there's just something about them.

believing...
all will be well.
and that having windows open all day long is one of life's best simple pleasures!

starting…
to prepare for my (and rennie's) upcoming trip to indiana!  only a couple more weeks!
i'm also beginning to think about christmas.  *gleeful grin*

wearing daddy's shirt!

wanting...
a bit more sleep.  my sweet girl still isn't quite ready to sleep through the night yet.

wishing...
for books to magically appear on my doorstep.

buying...
a couple pairs of pants and one amazing sweater for me, plus some adorable autumn outfits for rennie!  it's almost that time of year here!

thinking...
about sooooo many things!  moving, housing, relationships, changes, meal-planning, you name it!

laughing...
at how quickly i become overwhelmed.  it is good to sit back and realize God has this!

wearing...
my hair down more and more as the weather cools.  socks... sometimes.  more autumn-happy outfits.

first pumpkin spice latte of the year!  i've had one more since...

anticipating...
time with my family soon.  AND more time with andrew as we go through the holiday season!  i can't wait!!

loving...
seeing how God provides for us, over and over.  we are so cherished.

Eeek! Rennie is so grown up and personable.

Rachel, you are beautiful. I'm glad to hear all the packing/moving is going well so far.
