Right where I am...

In this place:
Lost Little Town.
Between Corn Fields.
Amidst the Trees.

Where I am.

In this skin:
Single Young Woman.
Staying at Home.
Imperfect, but Growing.

Who I am.

If I can't find
Joy,
Love, and
Contentment
Here...

Then I never will.

Isn't it strange how we
Dream
about
Tomorrow?

Thinking we will
Suddenly,
Magically be
swept away into a
Fairytale.

Thinking it will all be
Perfect.
Then.
Not
Now.

Then is the ideal we reach for,
wait for;
Hoping,
Dreaming,
Longing.

Wouldn't it be so much
Better
to love each moment,
no matter how
Normal,
Unnoticable,
it may be?

Because
Now
is
Real.

Now
is what
You
have been
Given.

How amazing to be
Content
with the
Grace,
Beauty,
Life we are
Given with each
Unrepeatable,
Swiftly-passing
Now.

Oh, the beauty of contentment.
Bless me with it always, Lord.

Thank you dear, for the reminder that if we cannot learn joy and contentment wherever we are, then we cannot expect to ever have joy or contentment in this imperfect life.

Thank you for striving to live a life wholly pleasing to God and reaching for a higher standard among a world that has none. I apprecaite your honesty and humility to open your heart so wide and let us in so that we can grow along with you! :)

Seems like the Lord is speaking to both of our hearts about the same things. I love His ponderings in my heart.
I love you.
