This week has been glorious so far.
I've spent the last two mornings studying and reading at our local library, which is so peaceful! I'm taking a Bible class through our church (which is a remote learning center) and am enjoying it a lot so far! I had the house to myself most of yesterday (most of my younger siblings have art lessons on Tuesdays!), so I spent some time cleaning the house, browsing our antique store in town, and getting item forms to fill out so I can sell the jewelry I make there at the store! Two of my younger sisters and I have spent some time together excersising... which usually sends us into fits of laughter. Having two teenaged sisters can be so halarious sometimes... we have way too much fun together. :-)
I've also been busy with teaching my five piano students, helping with the children's ministry at my church, and playing piano and singing for church. When I sit back and list out all the things I'm a part of, it really can become overwhelming... but I enjoy it all so much that it isn't so crazy when I'm actually living it out! :-)
Ahhhh... just now a gust of wind shook the maple tree out front and sent a shower of orange leaves to the ground. I LOVE fall! My six-year-old sister, Samantha, is out enjoying it all. Ahhh....
Yesterday my brother, Josh, went to his horseback riding therapy. This is his 3rd or 4th week this semester doing it and it seems to be going well so far!
My family has been enjoying our horse, Samwise Gamgee, this season. He's a good old horse and well-loved by our clan. :-) My sisters visit him almost every day at the home where we board him.
"I wish that someone invented a way to bottle memories like perfume. Then whenever you wanted to remember something, you could just open a bottle and it would be like reliving a memory all over again." (My version of a quote from Alfred Hitchcock's "Rebecca"). I couldn't agree with this more. There have been so many small moments I wanted to just bottle up and keep forever this summer and autumn. I'll just have to hope my mind has room for all of these beautiful memories.
God bless you all! I hope you're having a wonderful week!
