It is so crazy that this sweet, chunkalicious girl turned two months old yesterday!!! Honestly, the time hasn't flown quite as fast as you'd think (with some health issues I've been having plus how bad my anxiety can be, some days are loooooooong), but Haven continues to be such a joy and comfort amidst the crazy.
Much like her big sis, Haven has so much personality already. She looooooooves having her diaper changed, being dressed, snuggling in blankets, and long naps (once we finally lull her to sleep!). She is a big girl, so nursing must be going well. ;-) I haven't weighed her recently, but she's gone up a clothing and diaper size (size 3-6 and 6 month clothes and size 2 diaper). WHAAAAT?!
This little girl has the CUTEST smile and laugh. She completely melts me. She has recently discovered her tongue and loves smacking it, especially when hungry. ;-) She is a terrific sleeper, some nights giving me 4 (a few times up to 5) hours of rest at a time.
This month has been a bit nuts and I'm definitely hoping things calm down into a more relaxing new "normal" as August comes to an end. We are currently preparing for Rennie's 3rd birthday (less than a week away!), a day-trip to see my sister and her family this weekend, Andrew's parents visiting mid-September (yay!!!), and *hopefully* figuring out what course of action to take with helping my mental and physical health. Prayers for wisdom and guidance with that last part are so appreciated.
