It is well, it is well...

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;

Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
        It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,

That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,

Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;

The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

This is my husband's favorite hymn and it is definitely in my top five favorites.  What beautiful truth.  What a comfort.

Yesterday Andrew left on a work-related trip and will be gone for at least two weeks (I might not see him until the day before Thanksgiving).  So, I find myself back in my parents' home, seeing my siblings constantly and tucked into a cozy bedroom my family made for me in what used to be a toy closet for my youngest siblings.
It has been hard just going one day without my hubby, but I am so thankful that I am not alone during this time.  Even now, Samantha is leaning over my shoulder and keeping me company as I type.

As you can tell from the pictures I took this morning, our part of Indiana has been covered with a light blanket of snow.  I personally wish that autumn would hold on just a bit longer, but the snow sure is pretty.  :-)

Today I have been able to work out with Jessie (I hate working out alone, so that is quite a treat!), drink coffee while having modesty talks, go out for lunch with my Dad (yay!), and discuss different types of adoption (a passion of mine) with my Mom.  Good day, yes?

Well, I'm off to enjoy the rest of my day!  Hope you are all are having a wonderful week so far.

God bless!

I was just singing this hymn. It's one of my favorites as well. I'm sorry you won't see Andrew for a while, but I'm glad you get to spend time with the rest of your family. By the way, these are beautiful pictures. It does sound like a rather nice day.
Blessings, my friend!
