These last few days have been spent with people who are becoming dearer to me with each day and finding a place deeper inside my heart with every minute: my family, which has grown through law and love. My amazing in-laws; Dad, Mom, and sister, Amanda.
After a year and a half of separation (they live across the country from Andrew and me), we were able to spend some much-needed and so-very-enjoyable time together over an extended weekend. We walked through stores, drank coffee (well, at least dad and I did), ate great food, watched hilarious tv, took family pictures, and talked a ton. These folks have made me feel so welcomed and so loved... and very tall and very brunette. :-D
All three of these people have been such an encouragement and are so missed already!!! Family is such an incredible blessing.
I can't wait for further opportunities to hang out with these awesome people (and even get more pictures together because, frankly, we look pretty great!). ;-)
